This was an intense sprint! We’ve pushed for the last few days to get everything ready for our Early customers. Here’s what we did.

Improving the speed of deployment

We’ve gone from 10 minutes to less than 3 minutes for a store to be online and fully configured!

Polishing the user interface

We did a lot of small fixes and polishing in this sprint to make the user interface friendlier.

Error Pages

As to not show the ugly default white error pages, we designed nice error pages that will show you the important information, like request ID which you can then provide to support for troubleshooting – or do it on your own (more on that later).

Implementing the Deployment Log

The deployment log is now implemented and shows what’s happening with the deployment in real-time. If there is an error, it will show it and restart the process.

Designing mockups for the next few features

We’ve done a lot of designs for a few big features coming in the next few weeks, some already in the next sprint.

This includes the Set Domain Wizard that will help you set your own domain for the store.

There’s also DNS hosting where you’ll be able to manage everything on the Store Dashboard. No worries if you don’t know what that is – in those cases, we’ll take care of everything for you.

And then we have the first three tabs for developer tools: Traffic, Errors, and Graphs. These will show you logs for your store and usage graphs to make it really easy to troubleshoot issues. As mentioned above, the Store error page shows you the request ID and then you just find it in the Errors tab.

Better Selling Location options

We’ve aded an option of selling to the same country as the Business Location. This will simplify the installation if you’re working on a local store.

New Website

We’ve officially gone from our basic website to the first version of the website that will soon show all of WooCart’s features.

Romanian stores are now fully translated

Matei help us to finalize translations for Romania. This means that Romanian store are fully localized from the moment they’re online!

There are some exciting features coming in the next sprint and we can’t wait to show them to you!
